How do I choose the right injection molding machine?

Start with the product drawing or sample, resin, part weight, wall thickness, mold size, cavity count and output target. Check clamping force, shot capacity, injection pressure, screw diameter, tie-bar spacing, platen size, opening stroke and ejector requirements together.

What information is required for a quotation?

Send the product and mold information, resin, number of cavities, target cycle or output, local voltage, destination port and required auxiliary equipment. If no mold is available yet, product drawings and planned capacity are enough for an initial review.

What is a servo injection molding machine?

A servo-hydraulic machine uses a servo motor to control hydraulic pump output according to cycle demand. This can improve response and reduce unnecessary energy use compared with a constant-speed pump system. Actual savings depend on the product, mold, process and production cycle.

How is clamping force calculated?

Clamping force is estimated from the projected area of the part and runner, cavity count, material and expected cavity pressure. The selected machine also needs enough mold space, opening stroke and shot capacity.

What is the difference between shot weight and shot capacity?

Shot capacity describes the volume the injection unit can deliver. Published shot weight is normally based on a reference resin and changes with material density. Total part and runner volume should be checked against usable injection capacity with a suitable process margin.

Which plastic materials can the machines process?

Machine configuration can be evaluated for PP, PE, PS, ABS, PET, PA, PC, PBT and selected filled or flame-retardant compounds. PVC and other heat-sensitive or corrosive materials require application-specific screw, barrel and process review.

Can one machine run different molds?

Yes, when every mold is compatible with the machine’s clamping force, injection capacity, platen dimensions, tie-bar spacing, opening stroke, ejector travel and interfaces.

Can you provide a complete production cell?

The solution can include matched auxiliaries such as loaders, dryers, chillers, mold temperature controllers, mixers, crushers, robots and conveyors.

Can voltage be matched to our country?

Electrical configuration should be confirmed against the installation site’s voltage, frequency and applicable requirements before order confirmation.

Do you support mold testing and commissioning?

Testing, parameter guidance, installation checks and operator support can be planned according to the machine, mold readiness, destination and agreed project scope.

What is the delivery time and warranty?

Lead time and warranty terms depend on the final configuration, production schedule, destination and sales contract. Confirm the current terms in the formal quotation rather than relying on a generic estimate.
